First step in our product design services. By employing Design Thinking methodology, we explore the market, review and define the business potential of your product and analyze users’ needs, all in the strong technological context.
A moment to transfer all the findings into concrete information architecture and intuitive user interface. Thanks to prototyping we can test the product structure before polishing it and improve the UX.
To make sure that our assumptions are correct we provide our clients with a clickable prototype, ready for usability testing.
When product’s logic, information architecture, UX and user interface are ready, it is time to enrich it with an exceptional look and feel.

Braster is a medical company looking ahead of the industry by giving women an upper hand in winning with breast cancer. Braster is a medical company looking ahead of the industry by giving women an upper hand in winning with breast cancer. Our Creative Team (now Utilo—Polidea’s design studio) conducted workshops to define the target group. The UX and UI design were based on user feedback. This ensured a tailored application structure and information architecture, as well as illustrations, icons, and the overall feel of the app. To make sure all layouts are properly translated into the code, the Team oversaw the process.
The team was collaborative, skilled and responsive. They produced high-quality designs.

Founded in 2015, Papereed is a Swedish startup offering a range of audio services. During the workshops, Polidea’s Designers—now studio Utilo— established the target group and prepared user flows and an empathy map. They conducted tests with blind and partially sighted users and produced a comprehensive report on accessibility features and recommendations for further development. The delivered iOS app is attractive, intuitive, and easy to use for everyone.
With no prior experience in designing fully accessible software it was of great help to be able to work with Polidea. They quickly understood the core concept of our ideas and could turn them into tangible designs, and, later on, code.
SHOWROOM is a pioneering e-commerce platform that brings together high-end fashion designers and fashion-savvy customers to the same place. Our design studio, Utilo, made sure the app looks beautiful and feels intuitive thanks to the clear information architecture and several animations enriching the user’s journey. The Team also conducted a rebranding of the app, following the new visual identity of the platform.
Best Buddies is a non-profit organization, founded in 1989 by Anthony Kennedy Shriver to end the isolation of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We conducted an on-site user research during a conference in Bloomington, Indiana. It consisted of interviews, group conversations, and workshops. The Research Summary report contributed to the development of iOS and Android apps for members of Best Buddies' school programs, connecting friends and social groups all over the world.
They really merged the design and engineering aspect together. They made real recommendations in terms of the UX that benefitted the project and were necessary, given our lack of expertise as a client.
