Cloud
At Polidea we believe that using standard virtual machines to run app containers in different cloud vendors is not a scalable, efficient, and cost-effective solution. In the spirit of Zero Ops, we migrated our internal projects to Kubernetes—a tool for orchestrating cloud infrastructure, created and open-sourced by Google. Since we had dockerized our web apps way before, moving them to the K8s was a fast and easy task. Now our internal projects are maintained automatically on GCP, allowing our DevOps to have more time for more important (client) tasks.
Different companies and experts understand digital transformation in their unique way. Whatever definition you are familiar with, it boils down to the fact that digital transformation is about using the right digital processes and tools to make your business better.
